Rock Island, TN: Short Hike, Long Shoot

Jon and I had an interesting accidental trip to Rock Island, TN last weekend. It turned out to be a nice road trip with plenty of great photo opps. These are some photos of Rock Island itself. I'll be posting more pictures of the falls and the drive down and back later.

Stormy Weather in Nashville

Here's a few shots I'm proud of, pre-editing.




I took these using the bulb setting on my Canon Xsi, my handy-dandy remote, and a wicked tripod. I'll get around to editing out those power lines and spiffing it up. There's more stormy weather forecast for Saturday so maybe I'll get another go round with the lightning.
